How did this site come about? Why 0kwh.com?
This site came about because the domain name was available. Simple as that. There was no grand design or plan to start a site that promotes energy saving or alternative energy practices. I was browsing for domain names on some expired domain name sites looking for domain names that I could purchase for the heck it. Never know what inspiration one can get from a domain name... LOL.
In this case, 0kwh.com had just expired and was available. I checked what "kWh" meant on Wikipedia and the phrase, "The kilowatt hour is most commonly known as a billing unit for energy delivered to consumers by electric utilities." caught my attention. So I quickly equate 0kWh to saving energy! Hence, that was the inspiration to start a site that publish information and articles about energy saving and alternative energy.
I have no expert knowledge nor expertise at all to write about alternative energy or energy saving technologies, etc. This 0kWh site will be my platform to learn and understand how one can contribute to the understanding of energy saving and alternative energy.
Cheers.
